The new version of the Lakota Lodge Rules can now be found on the resource tab of our website.
Lakota’s very own Lodge Leadership Development (LLD) is taking place from February 25th-26th. This event is an excellent opportunity for all the Arrowmen in Lakota lodge to come together and learn more about our program through creative trainings and a night full of games and food!
We begin the event with a morning and afternoon full of presentations, prepared by our very own youth, to train you on all different aspects of the OA. Some of the presentations on the schedule for this year are Ceremonies: Behind the Feathers and the Flames, Elangomat: A Friend Along the Trail, and we are even hosting a mock lodge election where you could run to be a lodge officer for a day.
This year’s LLD is all about FUN, so we’ll have more games and more competitions than ever before. Even better, after all the trainings are done, we will have not a dinner, but a MAN FEAST. The rest of the night after the feast is yours to have as much fun as possible. We have an entire gym for all-night dodgeball tournaments and other rooms available for movies, video games, board games, and more. Bring some fun of your own if you’d like.
LLD is all about training to be the best arrowman you can be and creating a sense of brotherhood with your fellow lodge members. The event is only $10, so please register ASAP. We can’t wait to see you there!
It is open to ALL Arrowmen including: committee chairmen, lodge and chapter officers, and especially New Ordeal Arrowmen who can learn how the lodge works while making new connections!
The flyer is here.
Online registration can be found here.
Hold the date! The section C7 conclave is coming April 21-23, 2017. More detail about conclave can be found on the section website.
Its time to pay your 2017 Order of the Arrow dues. (This is independent of your regular BSA registration.) The fee for 2017 is $10.00.
To pay online, Lodge members will need their BSA ID #. This can be found on your Boy Scouts of America membership card or in the My Account section when you log into my.scouting,org. Your Scoutmaster or Committee Chair can also help you find your BSA ID number.
When you pay dues, it will validate your membership and verify that your current OA dues have not already been paid.
