Brotherhood Conversion Opportunities 2009

Attention ALL OA Ordeal Members
Lakota Lodge wants you to seal your membership in the Order of the Arrowby becoming Brotherhood. It is really simple to seal your membership. NO night under the stars, plenty of FOOD, and a great day of Fellowship
and Cheerful Service with other Order of the Arrow members. Below are
the requirements to become brotherhood and information you need to know
for the Brotherhood Fellowship.
Brotherhood requirements:
1. Order of the Arrow Ordeal member for 10 Months
2. Currently registered with a Northwest Suburban Council unit
3. Current Lakota Lodge member (dues paid up to date)
4. Write a letter of rededication to the Lodge Secretary (explaining
the obligation in your words, how you use the obligation in your troop
and in your daily life, and your plans for giving service in the Lodge)
5. Know the Order of the Arrow Obligation, Order of the Arrow Song, Admonition, Sign of the Ordeal and Handshake
6. Complete the Brotherhood Fellowship (A day of Fellowship and Cheerful Service)
7. Complete the Brotherhood Ceremony
Brotherhood Conversion Opportunities in 2009:
Spring Fellowship – Camp Napowan – May 15 – 17, 2009
Summer Fellowship – Camp Lakota – June 26 – 28, 2009
Fall Fellowship – Camp Lakota – September 11 – 13, 2009
Brotherhood Conversion Day – Methodist Campground – October 25, 2009
